The Author
Andrew Tan is the co-founder of atomi, a Singapore-based lifestyle brand dedicated to made-in-Japan products, which was set up with his wife, Mitsuko Murano, in 2009. atomi has established itself as the go-to purveyor of high-quality Japanese furniture, homeware, clothing, gifts, and bespoke management consultation services. Andrew shares his love of everything Japanese, along with his unique insights as an outsider-insider on various aspects of Japan.
At a local university, Andrew designed and instructed two undergraduate courses focused on entrepreneurship. Additionally, he co-taught two postgraduate courses on the topics of entrepreneurial mindset, technology, and innovation, both in English and Chinese. Andrew's passion for education harmonizes well with his consulting business, aims to foster a supportive environment for startups, aspiring entrepreneurs, and businesses.
